I’m an artist and sixteen year veteran of the video game industry with most of that time spent at BioWare, where I contributed concept art and storyboards to Sonic Chronicles, every game in the Dragon Age franchise up to the Dragon Age Dreadwolf, and Mass Effect Andromeda.
My illustrations appear in “Stories of the Saints” by Carey Wallace, and Workman Publishing’s “Brain Quest” books, as well as Dark Horse Comics’ “World of Thedas Vol. 1” and “The Art of Dragon Age: Inquisition”
I have always wrestled with being pigeon-holed into working in any particular style or discipline. My interest (obssession?) with story governs my approach to art: story is my way into art and if there’s anything unifying about my body of work it’s that. (I also like to hide cheeky easter eggs in my work).
Over the past half decade I have dedicated much of my time producing story boards and narrative sketches and leading other board and cinematic artists for triple A games and it’s a pretty good time.
I am currently a member of the Humanoid Studios team as cinematic lead.
